Retopology Phase is in progress for all dinosaurs and redesign stages for all characters are underway. My main female character is still 60% Retopologized, but I still need to flesh out legs and arms as well as adding small details to the armor. Cloth forms are also still on the rough side.
Saurotitanus weighs in at around 3000 Tris, but high res is a modest 24 million (I have no idea why Zbrush lets me get away with that, but I'm not questioning it). All that awaits this model is the Polypainting/texture phase. Special thanks for Kurt Papstein's render settings tutorial I found on Pinterest.
Idorex sits at a much higher triangle count at 16,000. I chose to do each spike as geometry. This will then serve as my mid-level creature polycount. I had some projection errors when I brought it all back in from Maya, but it's minor fixes. It may even be lower after I further review the count.
Raptor is at an even higher count of 60,000. For this i just need to sculpt more detail into the arms and wrists, but otherwise it's UD'v and ready to go. Texture-wise, all the feathers need their own textures, and hopefully I can pull it off.
And lastly of the dinos, Noracosaurus, which is the final name of this beast. I still hate the front legs, but I haven't had time to fix it yet or make a low cage. I love the head of this thing, and if anything, if deadlines het tight, at least I can Keyshot its head.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope your're doing well.
